Notes from the North

A little walk through Sweden

9. A lovely dag |

Unlike yesterday when walking was a bit tedious, today was great. Yesterday I walked mostly on gravel roads. There was very little traffic, but it just wasn’t as exciting and not as fun to walk on in the long run. Today, on the other hand, it was very varied with forest and open landscapes and a lot of water in the form of streams and lochs. Also, what should have been a rainy day was the most beautiful sunny day. I found a wonderful place to have lunch and took a dip in the cold water. You feel like a newborn afterwards. My head was completely quiet today. No special thoughts. I just enjoyed the day and feel blessed.

Aha! Water baby! Radiance! After scarce water yesterday enough water to swim in today -hooray! What a joy to follow your footsteps and thoughts (and no thoughts -just wonderful peace) Angelica – celandines and wood anemone abound in Moray too so feel very connected to your travels. First Swallow seen a couple of days ago – have you seen any yet? Thank you so much for sharing your abundance of nature’s simple gifts….Donna xx
