A little walk through Sweden

Today I had to make a detour to a small town. Partly to buy a few things, but mostly to charge my devices. Just 25 years ago, you didn’t have to think about such things. But today it’s almost impossible without it. I found a pizzeria and was able to combine charging with a nice lunch with free coffee.

On the way, I was stopped by two ferocious dogs who wouldn’t let me pass. The path went straight through a farm. Then came Urban the old farmer at Skråmared. A lovely man who saved me and accompanied me all the way through his farm to the gate at the other end. We chatted for a while about everything in life as we walked. It was a lovely meeting.

And speaking of meeting, one of the couples who went on last night actually came back later in the evening to fill their water bottles and we ended up sitting by the fire and chatting. We did the same at breakfast. Sitting by the fire is just something that brings people together.
