Notes from the North

A little walk through Sweden

50. From A to B |

Today’s stage didn’t offer anything special either. I just went from A to B. It was supposed to rain all day. It did at the beginning, but it soon stopped again. It always looked like it was going to rain, but it didn’t. I can only be grateful for that.

But the overnight rain has soaked the paths, so your feet get wet anyway. You get used to that.

I had lunch at a brand new shelter, which was exceptionally beautiful. I was very tempted to just stay there. But when I got up to reach for the guest book, a little wagtail flew out. It had built a nest there and had been sitting on its eggs. Now it didn’t dare to come back in. So I thought I’d better move on so that the poor bird can get back to its nest.

Instead, I ended up in a pilgrim chapel that you can sleep in. It’s very appropriate. So here I sit and feel good 😇.

Wooow! I slept in a church once but never in a chapel like this. Where is it? It looks amazing.
