Today I had a day off. I spent the day with my Trail Angel Knut and his family. I ate the whole time. It’s amazing how hungry you are constantly. We drove to town to buy food and gas. So I don’t have to think about a detour to the next town on the way and especially I don’t have to worry about gas for a while. I’m very grateful for that. All in all, it was an incredibly wonderful day driving out into the woods, grilling sausages and sharing many stories about hiking experiences and the people you meet. It rained a lot and sometimes the sun even came out, but I’m really happy for another night in a warm and dry room.

Tomorrow I will continue my hike. The weather forecast is much better. Especially it will be warmer again. I’m looking forward to it.
