Notes from the North

A little walk through Sweden

14. A completely normal day |

After almost two weeks, I think I’ve achieved something like an everyday life, with clear routines and a certain rhythm. It feels familiar and completely normal.

Today I walked from the forest north of Kinnared to Fegen National Park. Nothing special happened. I just walked, took breaks here and there, crossed from Halland into Småland (Astrid Lindgren and ‘Bulderby’ country), ate suitably ham from Lönneberga for lunch and am now sitting in a shelter by Loch Fegen. A fairly normal day.

Hello Angelica, I’ve finally caught up with you on your amazing adventure. Glad all is well and you are settling into the rhythm of the walk, enjoy every step, even the tough ones! It’s all part of the journey and story. Lovely to see your photos and the shelters look interesting. I’ll be thinking of you when I’m walking in the forest back here.
I will keep in touch, meantime, sending you a big hug.
